Marissa Pollard is a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist in the states of Tennessee and Indiana. She is also a Registered Play Therapist. Marissa earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Biblical Missions from Lipscomb University in Nashville,TN in 2015. Also from Lipscomb University, Marissa earned her Marriage and Family Therapy degree in 2017. Marissa has served on several mission trips in Mexico, Bolivia, Chile, and the US. She has experience providing therapy and substance use groups for clients in the jail and prison system, as well as therapy for children and families in the DCS and court systems in TN. She believes all people have a story and are able to grow and thrive in spite of their story in order to become their Best Selves. Marissa has been married to her husband, David, for five years. Together they have a son, Alexander, a hound dog, and a cat. She loves being outside, reading mysteries, and playing board games.
