Senior Consultant and Founder, Johnson Grossnickle & Associates (JGA)
Ted started his career at Procter and Gamble Company. He then served in advancement and corporate relations roles at Northern Illinois University and served as Vice President of Development and Public Affairs and then Acting President for Franklin College. He co-founded JGA with Don Johnson in 1994.
Ted maintains a full-time role at the firm serving clients, mentoring staff, and providing strategic leadership; he is also chair of the JGA board of directors. Ted serves the nonprofit sector as an author, speaker, teacher, and board member and has received numerous honors and awards for his achievements. He currently serves as Vice Chair of the Giving Institute board and co-chair of the Working Committee for the National Commission on Philanthropy. Ted serves on the board of Garrett Theological Seminary and is a former member and chair of the Board of Visitors of the Indiana University Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. He was a member of the Board of Trustees at Wabash College for ten years, during which he served as co-chair of The Challenge of Excellence Campaign.
