With more than 25 years of experience in public education as a school administrator, Dr. Troy Friedersdorf serves as the principal of White’s Jr./Sr. High School where the students of Compass Rose Academy attend for the academic portion of their day. He graduated from Anderson Univ. in 1991 with a B.A. in secondary education and social studies with a concentration in psychology. He went on to earn his M.A. in school administration from Indiana Univ. in 1996 and his Doctor of Education degree from Oakland City Univ. in 2018. Prior to coming to White’s in 2004, Dr. Friedersdorf served as the principal of Eastbrook High School. Previous experience includes serving as the dean of students at Norwell High School as well as teaching at an alternative school in Pueblo, Col. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for over 25 years. Together, they have four children, one foster child, and five grandchildren. He is an active member of the LaFontaine Christian Church and is involved in the LIFE Center of Wabash, a pregnancy crisis center where Jennifer serves as the client service manager.
