With more than 20 years of experience in public education and 18 years in school administration, Troy Friedersdorf serves as principal of White’s Residential & Family Services/Compass Rose Academy’s on-site Jr./Sr. High School. He graduated from Anderson University in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and social studies with a concentration in psychology. He went on to earn his master’s degree in school administration from Indiana University in 1996. Prior to coming to White’s years ago, Troy taught at an alternative school in Pueblo, Colo., and served as the dean of students at Norwell High School and as both the assistant principal and principal at Eastbrook High School. He has been married to his wife, Jennifer,for more than 20 years. They have four children, one foster child and one granddaughter. He is an active member of the LaFontaine Christian Church and is involved in the LIFE Center of Wabash, a pregnancy crisis center where Jennifer serves as client services manager.
